Kamal's Daughter Akshara Haasan in Mani Ratnam's Direction

There was no news about Mani Ratnam's new project which is based on fusherman's turmoil.From past couple of days there was a buzz in kollywood that Mani Ratnam is all set to launch Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan.

One more buzz is that Mani Ratnam's new film also ropes in Actor Karthik's son Gautham in the main lead role.The entire movie is set on coastal village in southern Tamil Nadu.Mani Ratnam is said to tout this film as a love story set against fishermen turmoil.

Right now Akshara Haasan is busy in learning directorial skills from bollywood director Rahul Dholakia.Mani Ratnam was satisfied with the appearance of Akshara Haasan and soon the actress to debut in to films.

Mani Ratnam is currently working on the script of the film and the movie is said to move on to floors in September.The major part of film shoot will take place in Kanyakumari and Kovalam in Kerala.
